Today, intraregional trade accounts for 5 to 10 percent of the region's total trade, according to various estimates.

In this regard, we propose to actively implement new forms and mechanisms to stimulate mutual trade.

We are talking about creating a system of border trade zones with unified rules and simplified procedures for the delivery of goods.

Here it is important to understand and support the efforts to replace expensive and not always high quality imports from third countries with products from our manufacturers.

Another important task is to promote joint industrial cooperation projects.

Our business circles are interested in creating productions, using the competitive advantages and the factor of mutual complementarity of the economies of the countries in the region."

In this regard, it is important to develop common approaches to the formation of the Central Asian space of industrial localization and import substitution on the basis of national programs of industrial development.

I propose to pay special attention to the digitalization of industries, which will reduce production costs and ensure the competitiveness of products.

In order to further develop trade and economic ties, we also propose to make greater use of the potential of direct inter-regional cooperation and to launch an annual Forum of Central Asian Regions.

At the same time it is necessary to strive to create a unified favorable business climate to improve the overall regional investment attractiveness.
