The oldest manuscript in the Uzbek language about the life and activities of Amir Temur was found in the capital of Tajikistan, Dushanbe. Badriddin Maksudov, a member of the World Society for the Preservation, Study and Popularization of the Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan, professor at the National University of Tajikistan, doctor of philological sciences and scholar of Navoi studies, made the news.
The book written about Amir Temur may be called the oldest extant Turkic manuscript, Maksudov said. So far, the oldest written Turkic work about Amir Temur was written in 1713.
