Republican Center for spirituality and enlightenment
Under the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 23, 1994 “On the establishment of the Republican public center” Manaviyat va ma'rifat” (“Spirituality and enlightenment”), the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan on June 8, 1994, adopted Resolution No. 288 “On the organization of the activities of the republican public center “Ma’naviyat va ma’rifat”.
The Republican Center for Spiritual Propaganda and the National Scientific and Practical Center for National Ideas and Ideology was created under the Republican Council for Spirituality and enlightenment following the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated August 25, 2006 “On increasing the effectiveness of the promotion of national ideas and spiritual and enlightenmental work”.
According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated July 28, 2017 No. PP-3160 “On raising to a new level of increasing the efficiency of spiritual and enlightenmental work and development of the sphere”, the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for the Promotion of Spirituality, National Ideas and Ideology was summarized, the Republican Center for spirituality and enlightenment was created the Republican Center for spirituality and enlightenment.
On July 28, 2017, after the adoption of the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No PP-3160 “On increasing the effectiveness of spiritual and enlightenmental work and raising the development of the industry to a new level” an enlightenment center was established.
Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 5040 of March 26, 2021 “On measures to radically improve the system of spiritual and enlightenmental work” was an important step in increasing the efficiency of activities in this area. The Institute for Social and Spiritual Research and the Trust Fund for the Support of Spirituality and Creativity have been created at the Center, and the spiritual and enlightenmental portal Oyina. uz has been launched.
The center is the founder of the magazines “Tafakkur”, “Ma’naviy hayot”, “Jahon adabiyoti (co-founder)” and the publishing house “Ma’naviyat”.
The center is the executive body of the Republican Council for spirituality and enlightenment, chaired by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
