The government decision on the organization of winter vacations for students and schoolchildren in Uzbekistan was announced.

According to it, from the last decade of December to the first decade of January, students (pupils) of secondary special, vocational and higher educational institutions will be provided with annual two-week winter vacations.

The Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education has the right to change the period of vacation for students and pupils based on existing conditions.

 During the holidays and winter vacations safety, leisure, as well as meals for students staying in student dormitories are provided at the expense of extra-budgetary funds of this higher educational institution.

In order to provide additional convenience for students and schoolchildren and increase their ability to travel to the regions during the winter vacations there will be temporarily increased the number of vehicles to enable them to go home and return on time.

Uzbekistan «Temir Yullari» and «Uzbekistan Havo Yullari» have been recommended to introduce 50% discounts on tickets for students 10 days before the start of the winter vacations.
