The opening ceremony of the new academic building of the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies was held in our capital city.

It was attended by the Chairperson of the Senate of Oliy Majlis Tanzila Norbaeva, Deputy Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education Sarvarhan Buzrukhonov, rectors of many higher education institutions, excellent students, teachers and students.

Those present congratulated the university staff and students with the commissioning of the new academic building.

This academic building of the university consists of 9 floors and is able to simultaneously accommodate 1000 students. It is planned to teach Korean and Chinese studies.

For your information, about 400 professors work in the university staff today. Of these, 50 are doctors of science, 125 are candidates of science and doctors of philosophy. More than 6,400 students study with such teachers. 840 of them are masters.
