The «Zamin» Foundation, with support from the United Nations Environment Program and national partners, held a discussion on "The Importance of Clean Air for Human Quality of Life”.

In her opening remarks, Ziroat Mirziyoeva, chairman of the Foundation's Board of Trustees, said that everyone is responsible for the environmental situation and emphasized that everyone must work together.

 "The future of our planet belongs to all of us, so we are all responsible for the state of the environment, from ourselves to the private sector, from public organizations to governments - we all have to work together. There's no such thing as big or small things, all actions for the environment are very important: not harming plants or planting a small tree, and reducing waste at large plants are all important," she said.

At the event, the results achieved within the framework of the project "Automation of Air Pollution Monitoring" were presented.

International experience in this regard was also discussed, and further plans were identified to improve air control measures in accordance with international best practices.
