Orinbaev Amanbai was appointed first deputy chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan on the issues of ecology and development of the Aral Sea region. This was reported by the publication "Khalk sousi".

Prior to that, Orinbaev served as Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. He was appointed to this position in March 2022.
