One of the oldest people in Uzbekistan passed away at the age of 122

Eshozova Ugil momo, the oldest resident of Shavat district of Khorezm region, died at the age of 122. This was reported by Shavat district head of the Usta Matsafo multipurpose farm Shukhrat Udaboev.

Ugil Momo Eshiozova was born on July 15, 1900 into a wealthy family. Her father Eshniyozbek was one of the prosperous peasants, employing 7-8 people in the household. Her mother was an educated woman and taught in a madrassa.

A survivor of three centuries, Ugil Eshozova witnessed many historical events: revolutions, two world wars, and the collapse of the former Union. When her child was four years old, her husband died and she was widowed. She never married again and raised her only child. Momo has 5 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren from her only child, who is now 72 years old. Eshozova Ugil Momo's sisters also lived a long life - one died at the age of 97 and the other at 90.
