"The transfer of marriage registration to notaries is a great trust. In particular, this procedure exists in the international community and in developed countries. It should be noted that this practice is not completely removed from the registry offices, that is, it will be carried out both in the registry office and by notaries. As a result, convenience is created for the population.

To register a marriage, citizens will be able to go to a notary 1.2 kilometers away instead of the registry office, which is, say, 20 kilometers away.

In contrast to the registry office, the notary explains to young people their rights, and if necessary, a marriage contract is drawn up. There are more and more cases of marriage contracts, especially in Tashkent," said Ashurov.
