In connection with the abnormally hot weather in Uzbekistan, the management of “Uztemir Yuliyulovichi” has imposed restrictions on the speed of trains. This is reported by the press service of Uzbekistan “Temir Yullari”.

According to Uzhydromet, June 25-29, hot air from Iran will enter the territory of Uzbekistan through Turkmenistan.

In such hot weather, the temperature of the steel rails will be even higher. Therefore, in order to ensure traffic safety, the speed of trains is limited because of the abnormal heat. Because of this, trains may be delayed.

Also, because of the sharp rise in temperature there is a change in the schedule of trains. In particular, on June 26:

•          Sharq train #10 on the Tashkent-Bukhara route;

•          No. 768F on the Tashkent-Samarkand route;

•          Afrosiab trains 769 and 769 on the Bukhara-Tashkent route;

•          Passenger trains #656 on the Khiva-Andijan route, #50 on the Khiva-Bukhara route, and #54 on the Tashkent-Kungrad route are delayed.

The management of Uzbekistan Temir Yullari apologizes to passengers for the inconvenience caused.
