On the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the Caravan of Enlighteners, which set off across the country to enlighten our countrymen, give them good humor and lift their inspiration, stopped in the Fergana region of the golden valley beyond the Kashkadarya oasis. Ferghana region is known not only for its beautiful nature, but also for its hardworking, enterprising and skillful artisans. Today the whole world about the pottery and Adras-Atlas textile schools of Rishtan and Margilan. Vegetables and fruits grown on the soil of the Alti- Arica are in demand on the world market because of their naturalness and special taste.

Construction of the New Uzbekistan Park in the region is now in full swing. The master builders, who are part of the new history being made in the valley, were not left out of the Caravan of Enlightenment. A group of renowned intellectuals, artists and educators familiarized themselves with the "New Uzbekistan" project in Fergana.

There are 18,000 ornamental and fruit trees planted in the 70-hectare garden. An artificial lake will be created on 3.2 hectares of land. Water is pumped into the lake from a distance of 14 km. There are plans to build about 300 7- and 25-story homes. This means about 15,000 new homes and shelters for 60,000 people. In addition, the project provides for the construction of 6 general education schools, 4 pre-school educational institutions, manufacturing enterprises and organizations for the population.
